Just Muscle and Fat (I hope)
17/12/2021
Following on from last weeks post where I found a lump on my neck
I had my appointment with my consultant at UHCW this morning
The appointment was at 9:00 but I always like to get there a good half hour early due to the parking which meant setting off at 7:30 in the dark
I went a different way than usual by going up the Fosseway all the way to Brincklow then dropping in to Binley at the end of Clifford Bridge Road
I got there in good time, found a parking space straight away so was there nice and early and reads my book.
My consultant had a good look and feel of my neck, had a look in my mouth and said it didn’t look like anything to worry about, was probably just muscle and fat but stood our more due to the fact that side of my neck is far thinner than the other side.
He booked me in for an MRI scan though just to double check
I got back home feeling really relieved and a lot happier to find the postman had been with an appointment for a chest X ray in Stratford in the morning.
Nice that everything is happening so quickly, just hope that my MRI scan doesn’t come through on 25th 🙂
